Meeting of the Melvin Library 

Those present were Marsha Slack, Lynn Duke, Donna Courtright, Donna Douglas, Diane Dawson, Forrest Steinberg and Stephanie McPherson. 
Meeting was brought to order by Lynn Duke. 

The minutes were read silently. Forrest Steinberg accepted the minutes. The second from Diane Dawson. All votes yes. MC. 

The financial report for August and September was presented by Treasurer Donna Courtright. The motion to accept the report came from Stephanie McPherson. The second from Diane Dawson. All votes yes. MC. 

Old Business: 
Reviewed tech grant and what tech items are still needed. 

New Business: 
Tax Levy request for 2025-2026 collection - $38,186.28. The motion to accept came from Diane Dawson. The second from Donna Courtright. All votes yes. MC. 

Raises will not be issued this year. Instead, vacation rollover will be allowed. 

Christmas Bonuses will be as follows: 
Director: $50 
Substitute: $20

Marsha is looking into library crawl for 2026.
